I have been open for business since 2009 and for a while Brightstar109 was one of The Lakes' best kept secrets, but I have been selling my unique brand of one of a kind and limited edition, handcrafted jewellery across the UK and overseas and as the business is growing and more and more people are hearing of Brightstar109.
 
I offer a full range of styles in sterling silver and copper using hand chosen gemstones of every variety, I do not use fake, lab grown or imitation gemstones and I enjoy specialising in rare and one of a kind hand cut and polished jaspers and agates from around the world. I love working with the sparkle and individual pattern of natural inclusions as well as the perfection of AAA cut stones.

I use only sterling and fine silver and occasionally copper for my jewellery designs, all my findings are sterling and guaranteed nickel free. I only buy silver and gemstones in good faith from trusted and established sources.
 
I am happy to shorten or lengthen chains or bracelets where the design allows. Most of my jewellery is a one off design that is difficult to re-create, however, if you have  particular request please contact me and I will be happy to make a piece of jewellery just for you.
 

Brightstar 109

Vir 109 is a bright star in the Virgo constellation and it is where the lady's feet are I quite liked the idea of starting with a step in the right direction from a goddess. Virgo isn't any particular goddess either, she has been associated with Diana, Aphrodite and Ostara amongst others, that was another plus, a sort of universal goddess figure..my kind of gal!
